Hotel Carlton is a little haven in žižkov. Everything about the hotel (its staff, rooms, atmosphere, breakfasts, housekeeping, friendliness, professionalism, location) is exceptional. A huge thank you to Blanka and the team, who could not have been more helpful during our stay. The rooms are spacious, warm and very comfortable. The buffet breakfasts are fresh, varied and plentiful: a great start to the day! The transport links from the hotel (bus, trams and metro) are very accessible. A world-class service on the hotel's doorstep. Local bars, restaurants, and cafes, such as the fabulous Biograf, are all within a stone's-throw distance. This was our fourth visit to the Carlton and we have already booked our next trip there. This is a fantastic hotel with exceptional staff. Very highly recommended, indeed.

The carlton is a lovely hotel in a great location. All the staff i met were cheerful, and happy to help . Checking in and out was simple and efficient . The rooms are very spacious and well decorated , they are also very clean, as is all the hotel. Breakfast room was also lovely, a good selection of continental style food with plenty to go at!! There is also a decent size bar area although i did not use it. You are 5 mins or 4 stops from the city on the tram, you buy your ticket on board, don't be put off by that because it is really simple although you will find the trams to be extremely busy and we had to stand up every time but there are absolutely loads of them. We finished our nights in the local bars, they are very cheap, about 50 or 60 crowns for a large beer. Hardly any English spoken as you are in the local area but you will get by. Did not eat locally but there are a couple of restaurants and local takeaways. All in all a fantastic hotel,in a beautiful building,in a great location with lovely staff!! Definitely one to try, highly recommended!

The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was really nice and friendly. I had arrived a day before my birthday. The staff surprised me with a small bottle of prosecco and a card :). The hotel is also close to public transportation.

Faultless from start to finish. I emailed the hotel before our holiday to arrange a transfer from the airport which was perfect and very reasonably priced. Check in was easy with the very friendly and helpful staff who also helped us with the tram stop locations, how to buy tickets and what number to get to go to different destinations. The tram stop is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning that we were glad of because it was 30 degrees when we were there. Breakfast is plentiful and good quality in a good sized dining room. Overall a perfect hotel for a city break in Prague.

This was our third visit to this wonderful hotel, which is situated in a great area. We found so many local cafes, bars, restaurants, markets, parks and shops in Zizkov and Vinohrady that, on this occasion, we rarely chose to travel into the city centre. However, if you do wish to visit the centre, or indeed anywhere in Prague, there is an abundance of first-rate travel options at your disposal. The hotel itself is exceptional, with large rooms, which are very clean and comfortable. There is also a fantastic breakfast buffet avaliable. All amenities are provided to make your stay a home from home. Hotel Carlton is a hidden gem, and front office manager Blanka and all the members of staff with whom we were in contact (receptionists/breakfast/housekeeping) could not have been more professional, personable and helpful. We are looking forward to returning to Hotel Carlton next year. Taking everything into account (hotel, location, staff, atmosphere) we simply wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Prague. Very highly recommended.
